Half way to Torrevieja. Road Tolls the Spanish Border and Yogi Barks and farts

Misty in Sapin I have been awake for over 12 hours now and this driving is making my legs ache. We have seen some fantastic views of France, even seen some snow as we are very high up in the mountains and our ears all poped.

And hey we even have some pictures of the road. What imagination.

Yogi has slept most of the way so far he is so lazy. We have some pictures now although they are not that good you can still see most things. There are some fantastic bridges and the roads here are nice and level not bumpy.

We have a few pics of bridges, I think that someone has a bridge fetish because we have loads.

The car has been filled up a couple of times with diesel and seems to be purring along. We are about to stop at a garage and have a walk it is nice and sunny here and loads of people sitting around having a drink and eating some food.

Yogi. Misty you have not been driving it is just you can not stop being in charge, and for the record I am only napping, There is no point sitting up and stressing life is to short. It is nice and warm here I don’t like the cold. I can see quite a few dogs about as well, How far have we gone now are we near Spain? And can we do some sort of road map and advice for other folks driving to Spain from the Channel Tunnel with dogs? I think this would be useful. Maybe make a separate section in our blog just for this called “From West Sussex, or south of the UK to Torrevieja in less than 30 hours with no ball playing and only fuel refills” That’s a good caption.

Misty in Sapin. That’s a good idea Yogi we will add a section that will help fellow canine travellers’. We are now very close to the Spanish border so this will be quite interesting. We have to make another stop soon as we need to fuel up but I think we have plenty to get over into Spain as the fuel is cheaper there than France that is why we have been just filling up at petrol station along the way sometime for only half a tank. And also just to give us a walk and some water. I have not wanted anything to eat yet because it is all too exciting.

Yogi. Here come another toll gate get ready to bark Misty. Remember to look like you’re not looking and half asleep and wait till they are asking the attendants how much. Just at that point bark like mad. It gives the maximum affect then and they can not hear a thing.

Misty in Sapin Ok but you got to promise not to fart when you bark you have been doing it every time and it smells. You have farted again Yogi it stinks and I just got zapped with that air noise dog correction thing they have as well. I am so not happy.

Yogi We are in Spain at the bottom of that winding road was the Spanish border they did not check passports at all. We are now on the road to Barcelona now and it is about 4pm on 29 04 08. Not bad going we will arrive in Torrevieja around 1am 30 04 08. So not that far to go.

Misty in Sapin. I have to keep awake then keep an eye on the humans make sure they don’t get on the wrong road and end up back in France. There are about another 10 tolls to go through but I think I will keep quite when we go through them I don’t like the noise made by that air thing It seems you are deaf to it Yogi you are so busy barking and farting you don’t hear it at all.
