The day of the Storm. South of England has 80mph Winds along the coast
This is the day of the storm here in the South West Coast in England. The weather warnings have been all over the news about wind speed up to 80 miles per hour. The storms were to start around 5 am in the morning and we live in a caravan. Fantastic. The caravan did wobble about around 6 am and the rain was bad. Really loud as it hit the side of the caravan. We were all ok though.
It was bad the rain and the wind making loads of noise and I could not sleep. We were not going out today because the weather was so bad. We sent the humans out though to take some pictures. The road to Littlehampton from Rustington along the coast was bad all the stones from the beach had been thrown up and there were piles of stones in the road. I have some pictures from East Beach Cafe and from Littlehampton harbor on the river Arun.
Rustington sea front shelter completely blown down.

Look very bleak here. Not very nice at all. So I can understand why we are not going out today for a walk. The image above was from just along side the East Beach Cafe which was Shut. The pic below was of the river Arun just by the Harbor. The water level was very high and very close to coming over the wall.
