South Down’s Make a change from the Sea on the South Coast of England
Today, to make a change. So different from the sea on the South coast of England. No cold sea No Sand and no break waters to jump.just grass hills and open spaces that go for miles, and a funny smell of what I think is rabbits and Foxes that just pulled me in different directions to have a look. This is quite a journey from where we live not just down the road and this meant the car and cages. So we had to go in these for about 15 mins due to the bad traffic in Sussex, at the weekends. Everyone seems to have a car now and A to B used to take a few seconds but now every one has cars and a very short journey takes for ever.
Misty, where she should be in a cage.
I should not be in a cage.
These cages are in the Car. We have a car called thugly
Not to sure wether it is Thugly or Fugly I think it maybe the later something to do with it being rather ugly with an “f”. Not to sure what is meant by that but the humans have a funny way of saying things. It is in fact the ideal car/van you can fit loads of stuff in it and being a diesel it goes for miles with little cost. No adverts intended here just that the car will go for miles. just what the humans say. The one we have is not metalic blue. On too the South Downs with some more Pic’s. We parked just a few feet from the Spotted Cow in Angmering. I think the humans have been here many times before. as there is a new road between the Spotted Cow and The South Downs we had to cross a new bridge. I think the bridge over this new road had been designed around a Bridle way as there was a soft bouncy surface that most motorway bridges would not have. I have thought about this and I am sure it was designed for horses to cross so they felt no difference between a dirt track and a man made dirt track. Correct me if I am wrong, Just over the bridge we continued to walk along a re-vamped road that was not there a few years ago, Only after the new road was built could you walk 50 ft without having Mud stuck to your Wellies.
We had to walk up this, went for many dog miles.
Misty trying to creep.
Nice walks around the South downs “Highdown” the picture is not that great you need to be able to smell it
Talking about smells, whats going on in here? smells like rabits sorry rabbits. just can not miss a chance of “diggin in”.
